In 2023 I was blessed to go on a trip of a lifetime to South Africa! During my 11 days there, I got to enjoy the city of Cape Town as well as Sir Richard Branson's Private Game Reserve, Ulusaba, located on the Sabi Sand Reserve.

In Cape Town, we got to walk around the streets and shop local, enjoy some delicious food on Camps Bay, and even got to watch the Rugby World Cup live on TV; South Africa vs New Zealand. We took the cable car to the top of the famous Table Mountain; and the views were impeccable.

I got to see all of the big 5 at Ulusaba: lions, leopards, cape buffalo, elephants, and rhinosaurus. And on the last game drive, we got to see a beautiful cheetah! To make the trip even better, we got to see the rare Pangolin, the only mammal on earth with scales! (pictured below in the middle). Being in nature, with these magnificent animals, truly moved me, and made me have a new love for the beauty of them.
